TWO mums filmed lashing out at a transgender man on a train branding him a “dirty little wrong-un” have hit back.
Their shocking outburst was caught on camera by Naith Payton, 28, after he says he challenged the pair about swearing in front of children.
The women’s foul-mouthed rant was caught on film by Naith, and the video ends with one of them smashing the phone out of his hand.
But now they have hit back, saying they were trying to reassure their children about “banging noises” after the London Bridge terror attack when Naith rudely interrupted.
The pair, named as Corinna and Emma, said they were on their way back from a “family party” when the train started making strange sounds, reports the Metro.
They wrote: “We heard banging noises which made us and the two young girls nervous given an hour earlier there had been two terrorist attacks.
“We tried to reassure the children by telling them it was just clowns popping balloons.”
Corinna and Emma then say “the man opposite” asked them why they were lying to their children.
They said: “We requested he mind his own business and carried on talking to the girls as they were still a bit scared, at this point the man started to shout, ‘Don’t lie to your children’.
“We suspected he had been drinking and felt a little annoyed that he was jumping in to our conversation with the children as we tried to reassure them.”
Apologising, the women said: “We know we were wrong to shout and swear at him but we were very upset and offended that he scared the children with his comments and, on top of that, he was filming us and more importantly filming our children.”
They described knocking the passenger’s phone out of his hand and “wrong and unacceptable”, but completely denied his claims they used transphobic insults.
They wrote: “Not once did we tell the children to swear or say anything homophobic towards him.”
In the video, one of the women is heard shouting: “Shut your f****** mouth!”
The other stands up and approaching Naith shouting: “What the f***’s it got to do with you?
“Don’t ever try to push me on my f****** kids. You dirty little wrong ‘un.”
Two young girls can be seen sitting in between the women during the aggressive outburst.
The blonde woman then realises Naith is filming and shouts: “What you video recording?”
She then appears to slap the phone out of Naith’s hand.
The incident happened on the train between Willesden Junction and Kensington Olympia in west London on Saturday night.
In a Facebook post, Naith also claimed the women abused him using “transphobic” insults.
He wrote: “When they got on the train, they were swearing, and using slurs, and there were some children on the train, including their own.
“One of them, the blonde woman, was repeatedly yelling ‘You f****** p****’ down the phone, while her daughter was sitting in her lap.
“I asked them to stop swearing, since there were kids around, and they turned on me.
“I didn’t get the worst of what they said on camera, but it was very homophobic and transphobic.
“They also consistently misgendered me, as you can hear in the video.”
A British Transport Police spokesman confirmed it was investigating the incident.
