WATCH: Iowa football fans collectively wave to kids at nearby Children’s Hospital – SECcountry.com
The Iowa Hawkeyes newest tradition has to be one of the coolest in college football. Though the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital has been around for nearly 100 years, it wasn’t until recently that Hawkeye fans began to make it a weekly event to turn around and wave at the kids in their rooms.
On Saturday, fans at Kinnick Stadium did exactly that for the third straight week. Except this time, we all got to see it not from the perspective of someone in the stands, but as a patient or visitor in the hospital:

Needless to say, the whole thing is extremely heartwarming, and especially awe-inspiring from this particular point of view. Good for Iowa and their fans.
