Iowa marching band makes giant wave to children’s hospital during halftime show – Landof10.com
The Iowa marching band continued the classy trend of waving to the children’s hospital, but this time it was on an enlarged scale.
During the halftime show, the Hawkeyes band made a formation of a giant hand and waved to the kids in the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital.

Illinois already pitched in with its version of a wave to the kids. Coach Lovie Smith and the Illini players waved to the children’s hospital at the end of the first quarter of Iowa’s game against Illinois.
Michigan State also did the same last weekend, teaming up with Iowa for a group-effort wave.
After seeing other football teams get in on the wave trend, it’s nice to see Iowa’s marching band take part, too.
