Children’s hospital helping moms get breast pumps, lactation advice – The Mercury News
A new program at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford allows mothers to rent hospital-quality breast pumps and get advice on lactation from experts.
The hospital’s Roth Auxiliary Gift Shop and DayOne Baby launched the program with a ribbon-cutting on Wednesday.
The pump rentals are available daily from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the gift shop. For more info, call 650-646-7644 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The partnership between the hospital and DayOne Baby, fostered through the Roth Auxiliary, “to provide new parents with the best in lactation equipment is one more reason why Palo Alto has exemplary quality of life,” Judith Kleinberg, president of the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce and a former mayor of Palo Alto, said in a news release.
