Win a night in an Airbnb made of LEGOs – USA TODAY
Airbnb is offering a LEGO House in Denmark.
For one night, a contest winner will be able to stay in a house made entirely of LEGOs.
To win, the traveler must answer this question: If you and your family had an infinite supply of LEGO bricks, what would you build?
Entries must be received by Nov. 16.
The winner will get a night in a LEGO bedroom under a LEGO waterfall.
Jamie Berard, design manager specialist for LEGO, will play host.
“We have unlimited bricks here, and in some ways it can be a bit challenging but it also liberates you to imagine something that is truly meaningful and expressive,” he says
Winners will be able to stay at the LEGO house on Nov. 24. Berard will greet them. They will then have lunch and be invited to build their food order out of LEGO bricks. Robot waiters will be on hand to serve lunch.
The house will close to the public after lunch so winners can run around at ease. The tour will include a stop at the Tree of Creativity, built by hand from more than a 6 million bricks.
At the Experience Zones, they will be able to direct their own movie, engineer robotic cars, design cities and more.
They can then head to the basement to trace the history of LEGO.
Finally, winners can rest in a bedroom floating underneath a LEGO waterfall, surrounded by a pool of bricks.
The two-bedroom home has a teddy bear, lamps, alarm clock, book and a cat made of LEGOs.
