We’re major fans of Missguided, what with their stylish clothes, their consistent discounts, and even the decorated pink packaging your clothes arrive in.
And now, it’s going to be more than the packaging that comes in flurecent pink, as Missguided have teamed up with Barbie to release a brand new doll-inspired collection.
The collection, which has been dubbed BARBIExMISSGUIDED, will feature 43 pieces, including over-sized jackets, ripped denim cut-offs, swimsuits and t-shirts – which all come in various colours including pinks, pastels, blacks and camouflage.
As well as clothing, Missguided will also be releasing a line of Barbie-inspired bags, phone cases, caps and bumbags which will be perfect for festivals.
Alongside the various in-your-face colours, the Barbie logo will be stamped across a number of the pieces.
The Missguided collection comes in an attempt to ‘celebrate Barbie as a part of their ongoing Babes of Missguided movement’, which celebrates all women – and dolls.
According to the brand, each piece of clothing was designed with the ‘feminist spirit of 2017’ in mind to ‘capture the energy of diverse, inspiring and cool young women’.
Missguided feel their collaboration with Barbie reflects their efforts to bring to the limelight both female empowerment and pop culture.
The collection is set to launch on 13 July on Missguided’s UK website – and the pieces are actually coming in fairly cheap – with styles from the collection costing between £5 and £55.
So, Barbie lovers, you have exactly one day to find some extra space in your wardrobe, dedicate an hour to making sure you’re on the website before it crashes due to impatient fashion fans, and to get your student discount in order to make sure you make the most of your money.
It’s going to be one hell of a stressful day.
