IF YOU’RE a fan of Lego, this new invention is right up your street.
A new tape that allows Lego lovers to build their creations on walls, furniture and even their bodies has been developed.
Although Nimuno Loops is not an official Lego product, it is certainly causing a stir among fans.
However, Lego aren’t so keen on the tape and told the BBC that it is not “a project we are involved in, endorse or support”.
The clever roll of tape is sticky on one side, but has Lego style studs on the other – allowing those who use it to build anywhere they want.
The inventors of the tape assure that their product is compatible with Lego, Mega Bloks and Kre-O – as well as building block systems.
Anine Kirsten and Max Basler, the makers of the tape, are currently crowd-funding and hoping to raise $8,000 (£6,556) to help them develop it.
And so far they’re doing pretty well – raising almost $400,000 (£327,800) from people who want to use the tape.
It’s manufactured in the USA and the developers hope to start selling it in July.
And this isn’t the only Lego themed product to cause a stir recently.
In February, rare Star Wars Lego sets were selling for £3,800 – over TEN times their original price.
