ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, MI — A two-vehicle crash hospitalized four people Saturday evening, including two young children.
According to a release from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5. Sierra Parker, a 21-year-old Ravenna woman, was preparing to turn from Lincoln Street to M-231 with 27-year-old Paul Morman in the passenger’s seat and two unnamed children, ages 10 and 2, in the back seat.
Meanwhile, 38-year-old Daniel Borgman was driving a Ford Explorer south on the highway with his wife Sara, also 38. As Parker pulled out to make a left turn onto M-231, police said she struck Borgman’s SUV.
Parker, the two children in her vehicle and Sara were transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital for treatment. None sustained life threatening injuries, and the children were uninjured but hospitalized for observation.
Police said all are in good condition as of Saturday evening.
Parker was ticketed for failing to yield right of way, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
